How we handle your information.

What we collect

We collect information you give us directly, and a small amount of behavioral data about how you use the site:

• Consultation and Vision Composer intake. If you start a consultation or build a Vision, we collect what you enter — business name, category, location, contact email, growth objective, and similar fields — so we can generate your Vision and follow up with you.
• Vision composition state. To let you resume or share a Vision later, we store the style, color, and content choices that make it up. This is your composition's settings, not a rendered copy of the page itself.
• Usage events. We log a small, fixed set of interactions — for example, that a wizard step was viewed, a Vision was rendered, or a nudge was clicked — tied to a session, not to your identity, unless you've also given us your email.
• A session cookie. A first-party cookie lets you leave and return to an in-progress consultation on the same device. It expires after 30 days and isn't used for advertising or cross-site tracking. If you save a Vision to come back to later ("soft capture"), we ask only for an email address.
• A theme preference. If you switch between light and dark mode, that choice is saved locally in your browser only — it never reaches our servers.

What we don't collect

• If you upload a logo while building a Vision, it stays in your browser for that session and is only ever sent to us as an email attachment if you submit a consultation — it is never stored in our database.
• We don't run third-party advertising trackers or sell information about your visit.
• We don't automatically match your submissions across sessions or devices by email or fingerprinting. Restoring a saved Vision requires the private link we gave you.

How we use it

We use this information to generate and restore your Vision, respond to consultation requests, send you a confirmation email when you submit one, and understand how people use the site so we can improve it. We do not use it to sell you anything other than MAIE's own services, and we don't share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

Who else sees it

We use a small number of service providers to run this site, and your information passes through them only to the extent needed to provide the site itself:

• Cloudflare — hosting, our database, and bot protection on the consultation form.
• Resend — delivery of consultation confirmation emails.

None of these providers are authorized to use your information for their own purposes.

How long we keep it

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary for legitimate business and operational purposes — for example, following up on a consultation or maintaining an accurate record of past engagements. You can ask us to delete your information at any time; see "Your choices" below.

Your choices

Wherever you are, you can contact us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal information we hold about you, and we'll honor that request where applicable. To do so, email privacy@joinmaie.com.

Children

This site is intended for business owners and operators. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we'll update the effective date at the top of this page.
